The Pelvic Physio -Charlotte Francis, Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist BSc (Hons). MCSP, HCPC and POGP registered.
“I have worked as a physiotherapist in the NHS since 2005, across a wide variety of disciplines specialising as a pelvic health physiotherapist in 2015 after returning from maternity leave for the second time. Having suffered with pelvic girdle pain and pelvic floor problems during and after pregnancy I have been able to really empathise and understand the challenges faced by women during the peripartum period and beyond. For the past 3 years I worked as a specialist perinatal pelvic health physiotherapist, treating women with pelvic floor dysfunction pre and post birth and was a joint lead working on the NHS England project to reduce health inequalities faced by perinatal women, an area which I am very passionate about”.
“I am dedicated to helping women take back control of their pelvic health so that they can regain their confidence and dignity. I treat a wide range of pelvic floor disorders including bladder (wee) and bowel (poo) incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain, whether they have occurred as a result of pregnancy/birth, at any stage in a woman’s life or as women age and move through the perimenopause and menopause”.
