ABOUT
Axminster Health & Wellbeing Centre is a non profit making, community based charity that promotes health and wellbeing.
Aided by a team of professionals and volunteers, the Centre inspires a wider understanding of the benefits of a healthy mind and body, by supporting people’s physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual needs.
We are also the base for a number of other organisations including the Axminster Food Bank and Read Easy.

Our Vision, Mission and Aims
Our vision is to improve the health & wellbeing of people in and around Axminster and our mission is to deliver complementary healthcare and holistic movement services for all.
Our aim is for the individual to realise his or her own abilities, cope with normal stresses of life, work productively and inclusively, and be able to make a contribution to his or her community.
Our low cost ‘Wellbeing Services for All’ project helps us to deliver low cost complementary therapies to the community. Call us on 01297 32331 or pop in for more information.

Our Centre
We are fortunate to be based in Hanover House, a beautiful early nineteenth century terraced house on Chard Street, Axminster. The building was a gift to our charity from our benefactor John Tweed, whose warmth and spirit still informs and inspires us today.
